Today’s Blogging Strategies for Small Business webinar launched the new Social Media for Small Business webinar series, presented by the Australian Businesswomen’s Network. Small business owners from all over the country tuned in to hear from experienced bloggers Jeff Bullas and Nikki Parkinson how they’ve established themselves as successful bloggers and how small business owners can use blogs for business. The presenters fielded questions about how often to blog, what platforms to use, what to say and how to ensure that Google finds your blog. Topics such as ‘how to write great blog headlines’, ‘when to start advertising on your blog’ and ‘how to integrate your blog with other social media’ were met with enthusiasm from the audience, which was made up mostly by those looking to get started with a blog. Some of the audience comments were:

The Blogging Strategies for Small Business webinar is the first in the new monthly series which will highlight the key ways that social media can be used by small business to produce tangible results. The series continues on 25 June with the Social Media Content Strategies webinar.
The Social Media for Small Business series webinars are free for Premium Members of the Australian Businesswomen’s Network or $59 each for non-members.
