- A lot of marketing is trial and error. What works for one business is not going to work for your business. By trying out small experiments and seeing what works and then expanding we can identify what is working for your business.
- When you think about your marketing, put yourself in your customer’s shoes. Try to think of what they are looking for and when developing a campaign try and think of the next step – what you want the customer to do next.
- Marketing doesn’t have to cost a lot of money to achieve results. Think of marketing your business like building a house. It’s critical to have the foundations of your house solidified before you start branching out and putting up the frame. It’s the same with marketing. Having your marketing foundations in place (website, logo, social media set-up etc.) allows you to then build up and conduct campaigns and special promotions.
