How Often Do YOU “Checkin” on Your Goals?
We LOVE goals here at HerBusiness and creating plans and getting organised.
BUT… having a goal is one thing.
ACHIEVING that goal is quite another.
It takes GRIT and FOCUS and not getting distracted by bright shiny objects.
One thing we do EACH Week inside our HerBusiness Marketing Success Mastermind is a weekly check-in with our Masterminders every Friday (you can see a pic below from last week’s check-in where Mastermind co-host Michelle Falzon and I went live in our Mastermind Group).
During that session (which we lovingly call the Friday Chicken after one of our Masterminders mispronounced it!), we invite each of our Masterminders to give an update on their 90-day project.
This project is something they set at our 2-day in-person meetings and use as their focus for the next 90 days.
It’s also a project that’s totally ALIGNED with their overall YEARLY goals and Strategic Plan.
And that weekly reminder and focus and declaration of progress REALLY makes a difference.
It helps you to stay on track.
To recognise and celebrate the progress you HAVE made (even when you feel like you’re not getting anywhere, you’ve very likely made forward steps you haven’t taken the time to acknowledge).
To REMEMBER you have a project and perhaps realise you’ve been distracted so you can get back on course.
To ask for and get help!
