In this article from today’s edition of smh.com.au, PMs Speech to NSW Chamber of Commerce, it’s reported that one attendee at the PM’s speech to the NSW Chamber of Commerce claims to have heard Mr Rudd deliver that same speech three times previously. While that’s simply not a good enough effort from a man with the biggest spin doctoring budget in Australian politics today, of greater concern to me is the fact that the PM apparently stipulated that no questions were to be allowed – pulling rank is not the way to address the concerns of small business, Mr Rudd. It’s never healthy when a politician tries to gag their constituents and Rudd’s new reluctance to engage in debate is a serious indication that his govt is closing ranks now that the going is getting tough. Not happy Kev. Whether or not we voted for you, Australians deserve more respect from someone in your position.
