One of the most influential books that I have read is an oldie but a goodie, entitled “Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway” by Susan Jeffers, first published in 1987. To grow and succeed in career or business it is necessary to move out of ones comfort zone and push forward. “Fear” (or anxiety, lack of confidence, self-consciousness, nerves, stress) runs throughout our lives. Feel the fear, and simply do it anyway, is the message Susan Jeffers shares, rather than letting “fear” in its many disguises act as a barrier to your success.
