15 June 2012 – Brian Solis discusses the impact of the increasingly networked and influential consumer on small business at the HerBusiness’ next webinar, on Thursday 21 June at 12pm AEST. Brian Solis will discuss his new book, The End of Business As Usual, which proposes a new approach to business based on trends in the mobile web, social media, gamification and real-time technologies. This approach focuses on engaging consumers as co-creators of brands using social media and networking devices.
“People are now investors in and beneficiaries of a new genre of collective intelligence that informs and guides people in real time,” Solis explains.
At the webinar, Solis will elucidate how ‘Digital Darwinism’ is determining business prospects, and what businesses can do to develop a culture of innovation to ensure success in this “survival of the fittest”. Developing brand loyalty is key, according to Solis, but not all consumers can be reached using traditional approaches.
“With the existence of multiple types of customers, it takes a personal touch to motivate each group uniquely.”
