For Cat Matson, Impactful Presenters started as a side-business in 2020 during the pandemic (yes, it’s a covid-baby). Cat was a senior leader in local government and had noticed that it wasn’t necessarily the most intelligent or insightful people who were contributing to policies and decisions… It was the people who knew how to speak to be heard.
Cat wanted more diverse voices contributing to the conversations that matter, and realised that communicating for long term influence was a skill that not only she had, but could teach. So Cat ran her first ‘Impactful Presenters Program’ in her lunch hours, worked on the business on the weekends and two years later, left her role in local government to be in the business full-time.
At Impactful Presenters, Cat equips humble leaders – business owners, public servants and other ‘corporate hippies’ – with the communication skills they need to speak with confidence, authenticity and impact, so they can make their desired contribution to the world.
