Alison Vidotto is a mother of six, an accomplished businesswoman and the founder of Australian Charity for the Children of Vietnam. Now, she is also a published author with a profound inspiration on how to juggle the balance of the corporate world to achieve a successful position of leadership. Alison’s new book, 22 Leadership Fundamentals: The Door To Success says Push!, is the exploration of leadership thoughts and ideas that have brought her to where she is as a leader in life and business. Among the many focus points of the book, Alison says it will show you how to be a conscious and authentic leader, as well as how to adapt and take advantage of change and turmoil. What sets this book apart from the myriad of leadership books is Alison’s experience. Not only is she grounded as a community leader and the pioneer of a small business of her own, but she also has personally experienced the undertaking of motherhood while pursuing her own corporate and philanthropic passions. When asked about her motivation to write a book, Alison says:
“I have met many leaders who are just getting on with it, living their lives, sometimes against incredible odds, demonstrating great leadership skills. I wanted to read about that, how leadership impacts our day to day living even when we are not in a managerial position.”
More than that, she wanted to write to be able to reach out to those who were not just corporate leaders but mothers who were business owners and community leaders.
