“I wanted to work with clients on holistic health. I was looking for something that could fulfill the desire to do MORE for my clients.”
Melanie Macoun of The Health Shift was a physiotherapist for over 27 years, working mostly with people suffering persistent and chronic pain. Melanie wanted to work with clients on holistic health instead of the confines of scope-of-practice, which is traditional Healthcare. Melanie was looking for something that wasn’t bricks-and-mortar that could fulfil the desire to do MORE for her clients.
Melanie has added nutrition, wellness and mindset qualifications to her solid physiotherapy knowledge base, and now helps women over 40 stuck in fatigue, stress and overwhelm to rise above the daily grind and become calm, confident and connected. One-on-one online or in person coaching is offered through The Balanced Life Program. And interactive workshops to inspire healthier workplaces are available in Canberra or NSW across a range of tailored topics.
“I love the support, sharing and learning found inside the HerBusiness community.”
Melanie has been a member of the HerBusiness Network for over a year now, and loves the support from the network, especially with her marketing and planning. Melanie is in an accountability group (called Growth Groups) where she shares and learns from the experiences of other female business owners.
