The Australian Businesswomen’s Network (ABN) has partnered with the WSPA (World Society for the Protection of Animals) to help them raise much-needed funds and to spread the word of the good work they do for animal welfare. Throughout October, the Australian Businesswomen’s Network website will feature stories of how pets improve the workplace environments at ABN member workplaces. Businesswomen will be profiled (giving them valuable publicity) alongside their workplace pals. Read below about how you can get involved and get your business some publicity and go in the running to win one of 10 prizes. Far from being a distraction, office animals have been found to help colleagues get on better, reduce stress and raise efficiency. And, for those working alone from home, they can offer much-needed companionship. Our guest pets and their owners are case in point! Here are some of our member pet pals:
- Meet Fenris – Puppy Assistant at Belinda Weaver’s business, Copywrite Matters
- Meet the team at Belinda Furlonger’s Eagleton Ridge Respite Centre
- Meet Leiah, the resident spoodle at Catriona Pollard’s CP Communications
- Meet Max, Chief Executive Pet at Alice Haley’s business, Haley Building
Get behind WSPA’s work
We encourage you to consider being a WSPA donor, either personally or through workplace giving to show support for the great work that WSPA does. Great organisations, such as The Body Shop, Havaianas and Intrepid travel, are just a few companies who have partnered with WSPA to support their work. (Take a look at this short video to see how The Body Shop recently supported WSPA.)
