G’day, my name is Max. I’m a golden retriever and I act as ‘site supervisor’ for Haley Building. I’m only two years old, but I’m dedicated to my job, spending a large part of every day at the office. I think that the best part of being in the professional world is networking. I make sure to spend a large part of every day lying in the sun at the shop window, attracting passers-by, generating conversation and getting lots of pats! Around our small town of Buninyong, Haley Building is known to locals as ‘the people with that cute dog’. On a recent kayaking adventure, I was relaxing in the ‘third seat’ of our company’s double kayaks, just enjoying the view, only to find myself the object of much attention and a photo shoot! The publicity is nice, but the celebrity life can be pretty tiring, so I make sure to take plenty of time-out to sleep and rejuvenate. I guess I’m just the kind of guy who takes it all in their stride. My laidback business strategy seems to work out well. So that’s my advice for my fellow business managers: Relax! Everything will look better after a nap in the sun.
