Katherine Times, a local news source of Katherine, NT, wrote about one of their local women, Marie Piccone. Marie is the managing director of Manbulloo, a mango distributor and one of the 2017 Businesswomen’s Hall of Fame inductees.
Marie is a trailblazer in the produce industry and has been incredibly successful with Manbulloo. The article tells about her and her business’s growth. Marie also shares a bit about her success secrets. One of the things that made her so prosperous were her mentors. She built her foundation on the knowledge she received from her mentors. She says, “There are a few situations that I wonder whether Manbulloo would have survived without them.”
The article also talks about the other women in the 2017 Businesswomen’s Hall of Fame. Suzi Dafnis was quoted saying, “The women inducted into this year’s Hall of Fame are incredibly inspiring with stories of determination and passion that have set them on paths to success, paths that often have quite a few big bumps along the way.” Marie shares some advice at the end for other businesswomen. Among other tips, she says, “Dream it, make the dream real, and then make it happen.”
