Zerafina Zara loves to teach public speaking and non-verbal communication.
Her business, Forté Presence Consulting, can take her to Singapore to coach performance one day and the next she can come home and do video work with the new arm of her business, Video Confident, through which she teaches business owners how to be more confident in front of the camera.
She also enjoys an occasional sleep in sometimes.
Because, well… she’s her own boss!
What she enjoys MOST about running her own business is having some agency around choosing what kind of work she pursues.
Being a part of the HerBusiness Network has led to her doing business with other members AND to getting support for herself.
She says she no longer feels like she’s ‘faking it’ because she has gained the knowledge about some of the many business tools that she needs to learn as a business owner.
She says:
“I’m still learning and growing. So, I feel that I’m getting a better sense of what it is to plan.
And I also think there’s some great role-modelling from other people who are in businesses in the room and there’s some great role-modelling from Suzi.
And I really think there’s a lot of emotional support too.”
