Bridget Hallam is the founder of Throw Your Leg Over, a business built around adventure, courage and helping others experience the world on two wheels. What started as a way to share motorcycle journeys has grown into a multi-faceted business including guidebooks, an Adventure Membership, luxe European Alps tours, and a podcast for women who ride, and now, in 2026, motivational speaking.
At Throw Your Leg Over, Bridget and Alan help motorcyclists explore beyond their familiar roads and build the confidence to experience the thrill and freedom of true motorcycle adventure. They’ve intentionally designed their business to be run from anywhere in the world, often from the seat of their motorcycle. Bridget is especially passionate about inspiring and encouraging women on their motorcycling journey.
Throw Your Leg Over was born from a desire to not just tell stories, but to help other riders create their own. That passion for both adventure and service continues to shape every offering in Bridget’s business. For Bridget, business is also a creative outlet, from developing new ideas and designing guidebooks to bringing offers and experiences to life.
Having travelled over 200,000 kilometres across 45 countries, both solo and alongside her partner Alan Cox, Bridget’s journey is a reminder that confidence isn’t a prerequisite for action, it’s something that’s built along the way.
