How Kate's Network Exploded When She Joined the HerBusiness Network

Meet Kate Mitchell from BlueSky Results. She works with small business owners who particularly use Infusionsoft to manage their email, marketing, and business automation

She helps them to master that tech-y stuff, get out of admin overwhelm and into stuff that they really love.

Even though she’s based on the Sunshine Coast, she works with clients (many of them members of the HerBusiness Network) all over Australia – Melbourne, Tasmania, Canberra, Sydney…

She says:

“I think the community works because it’s just a group of very real people who aren’t afraid to be vulnerable and to lay all their cards out on the table – and it’s kind of a group of equals.

I’ve done business with lots of HerBusiness members. I’m really grateful for that and that opportunity.

Since I joined HerBusiness, my network has exploded.

I was previously in full-time employment.

I had a network of people within my job role, but they were on a different path. I had a completely different journey to the one that I was looking for, so when I transitioned into my own business and joined HerBusiness, that network became hugely important and has just grown.

I feel that the value I get from the network increases as I contribute.

It makes my day to contribute in the Facebook group or in a live session, whether it’s providing advice or just general thoughts that I think might help someone else.

I get a great deal from having the opportunity to contribute.

I just feel that the HerBusiness communities really lack an extended family.

My family, my closest friends don’t really understand me sometimes and certainly don’t understand my goals, and my business, and the vision I have in my head for what I want to be, but it feels like the network does.

And I guess that’s where I get a lot of value because I know that these people understand the highs and the lows and the thoughts that go through your head and can walk with me on that journey.”
