About Me - My Biography
Kate Mitchell has over 10 years of experience in Financial Services, working across travel and expense management programs. Kate is a procurement professional who works to support and enhance business value through the creation of efficient and scalable travel and expense operating models.
Kate has been responsible for regional and global travel and corporate card programs, and has implemented complex travel and expense programs. Kate’s experience covers the sourcing and establishment of multi-million dollar travel programs, and the management of airline, hotel, ground transport, travel agency and corporate card contract performance and relationships. Kate has played an active part in program management strategy, formulation and execution – from analysis, recommendation, implementation and training, through to post-implementation and support.
Kate has strong project management and change management experience, and has a keen interest in problem solving and process improvement.
Kate is the founder and Director of BlueSky Traveller – using technology, process improvement and partnerships to help small and medium businesses to drive efficiencies and increase profits.
