HerBusiness’s herBusiness blog was announced as a finalist of the Best Australian Blogs 2013 Competition – Business Category via Twitter today. There were over 1007 entrants in the competition, across categories including commentary, lifestyle/hobby, personal and parenting, business, and words and writing.
Proud to chosen as a national finalist amongst other highly regarded Australian blogs, Suzi Dafnis, HerBusiness CEO says:

They bring real-life experience of running a business to their posts. This honest advice and the sharing of their stories resonates with readers, and now it looks like the competition judges have also given us the nod. We are thrilled.”
The blog, established in 2009, was an early entry to Australia’s blogsphere. Posts, authored by women owners of small businesses, are published almost daily and include video blogs and business lessons on a range of topics including marketing, social media, branding, staff and recruitment, inspiration and success stories, and business development. In the past, herBusiness had been named one of the Top 20 Australian Business Blogs in 2013 by Smart Company, and also as finalists of the 2011 and 2012 Best Australian Blogs Competition.
The herBusiness Blog is also eligible for the People’s Choice category of the Best Australian Blogs 2013 competition.
Voting for the People’s Choice award closes on Tuesday, 30 April 2012, and the winner will be announced by the Sydney Writers’ Centre on Wednesday, 1 May 2013.
