Before creating The Transit Lounge, Shandra Moran had an eclectic career in the dynamic Radio industry, as a Talent Manager on Foxtel and as the Head of People & Operations at a human performance consultancy – including managing one of the largest organisational culture change programs ever undertaken in Australia.
In late 2014, Shandra had a health wake-up call that led her to have some serious ‘shut up think and feel time’ and to the decision to leave her corporate role.
That time also led Shandra to ask some big questions… questions about how she wanted to live her life, what success really meant to her and how she could add the most value to others.
This reflection allowed Shandra to reconnect with her passion for wanting to be her best, to be continually learning and growing and to use that knowledge to assist others to bring the best of who they are to what they do – especially women who have had a successful career and now want to be their own boss.
At The Transit Lounge, Shandra works with women with a service-based Side Business who want to grow it to be a viable future full time business. She helps them do that through Private Coaching and her online Side Business Growth Group called Side Business Momentum.

Shandra has been a member of the HerBusiness Network since 2019. She is also in the HerBusiness Marketing Success Mastermind and has attended a number of retreats, including The REACH Retreat in Hawaii and Trailblazers in Wanaka, NZ.
Shandra is the leader of her Growth Group (small accountability groups) and loves the dynamics and support found in that small group.
