“I fell into marketing a lifetime ago. Luckily for me I love what I do, I always have.”
Litsa Barberoglou of Brandivine loves brands and considers them to be her “babies”. Some people have real “babies” others fur “babies”, Litsa has brand “babies”. Over 40 years Litsa has had the privilege of nurturing some well known brands such as Goulburn Valley, Sorbent and Yellowglen. All very different, but all loved.
Litsa says “I fell into marketing a lifetime ago. Luckily for me I love what I do, I always have. The part of marketing that I love the most is building brands. It is creative.”
Litsa’s time as a small business owner started after she burnt out in a corporate career. Sound familiar? She just wanted to do something to earn a living while recuperating. Her solution was to take over a small printing, promotional products and sign making business, which she claims is not the best idea she’s ever had. Litsa became the queen of pivoting before it was a thing.
During a mentoring call with HerBusiness Head Mentor Peter Johnston, she discussed what she really wanted to do. She wanted to create brands. A couple of mentoring calls later and feedback from fellow HerBusiness members at a Roundtable, and Brandivine was born.
At Brandivine, Litsa collaborates with purpose driven business owners to build ‘remarkable” brands by uncovering brand stories that build trust and loyalty, through consulting, coaching and digital products.
Litsa joined the HerBusiness Network because she wanted to feel like part of a community, a place where she could learn, be part of a supportive network and be inspired. After many years, Litsa still says that HerBusiness continues to give that and so much more.
Since lockdown, Litsa has enjoyed writing and taking photos for social posts. She says that a well crafted post that captures people’s attention and imagination makes her heart sing.
She also loves to travel and read… ideally at the same time.
