The Australian Businesswomen’s Network (ABN) has long been known as a networking organisation for women in business. In fact for nearly 20 years it’s been a go-to place for women looking for networking.
But, here’s the thing. Networking doesn’t just happen.
Membership to the ABN (or ANY industry or networking group) doesn’t guarantee you ANY new business.
I’d be lying if I said it did. So, I won’t.
What I will tell you is this…
The ABN is a network of women business owners. And, in that lies our power.
We are a national group of hard-working, inspiring women who have taken on the challenge and reward of being the masters of our own universe.
And, by coming together through:
- events that stimulate our minds and start conversations
- mentoring where we are given access to the experience of others who have walked in our shoes
- access to information and resources that has the woman business owner in mind
- speaking up when we feel there is injustice and having the power, as a group, to take government to task over decisions that impact us
- inspiration from role models – other women who are striving to achieve great things
That is what the power of THIS networking group is.
If you haven’t yet joined us as a member, then I invite you to be a part of this one-stop-shop for business women.
What will happen when you join? You’ll:
- expand your network of valuable contacts – network without the hype and falseness you find at most event
- improve your business skills and access business experts who have answers to your questions
- surround yourself with inspiring, forward-moving people who want to help you achieve your goals
- promote your business and raise your profile
- feel more confident in yourself and raise your self-esteem
And here comes the plug…. when you become a member by 31st January you’ll pay just $1 to join (normally it’s $95) and then just $20 a month.
Watch this video to learn more and to hear how other women in business have used the ABN to get business!
Joining won’t get you business. But becoming a part of our community and then taking advantage of the power of the network is where you’ll reap the rewards.
