HerBusiness today announced member Vivienne Kane of ExcitePrint as the 2014 Member of the Year
Vivienne has been an active member since joining the HerBusiness Network and has made the most of her membership over the last 12 months, pursuing opportunities available to members and also sharing her knowledge and and expertise with other women in business.
During 2014, Vivienne blogged for the herBusiness blog on print and marketingstrategy, took part in StartUp Month, donated a prize package valued at $500 for the What’s In A Name? competition and presented at the popular From Pitch to Purchase webinar. Vivienne also helped staff at the ABN expo stand during Small Business Festival Victoria in August. Vivienne has made valuable contributions to the entire community.
Here’s how she describes herself:
Vivienne Kane loves print that works. “I love helping small business owners to create print products that grow their business. What I’ve found during more than 13 years as the owner of a printing business is that many small business owners don’t have the right marketing advice to give them the best results. So they spend time and money on the wrong messages and the wrong print products. To solve this problem, we developed ExcitePrint, a specialist print marketing service. For small businesses who want to grow, ExcitePrint starts with the end in mind. It looks at the outcome required from each piece of print marketing, and helps get the message, design and print product right to achieve that result. We’re also big fans of integrating your print marketing with what you do online – that usually creates a big multipier effect. The Minuteman Press Prahran group now includes ExcitePrint, CalendarPrint (creates branded customised calendars) and MyEventBox, which produces coordinated packages of branded print collateral for events.”
Describing her passion she says:
“I love great design that nails the message and is beautifully produced. Whether it be print, interior design or architecture (I come from a family of architects stretching back into the 19th century), I’m a fan of beautiful things that work well. I love bringing that creativity into my business life.”
Her personal interests include:
“Good food (cooking and eating it) and wine, travel, urban (not bush!) walking.”
Vivienne Kane joined HerBusiness saying:
“I love working with and helping inspired and inspiring women. Through my membership I hope to contribute to the ABN community, and draw on the knowledge and advice of other members to help develop my own business.”
We congratulate Vivienne and thank her for her contribution to the herBusiness community. You can learn more about Vivienne Kane here:
