Do you step out of your comfort zone? When is the last time you took a risk? What would it feel like if you did?
According to Margie Warrell, author of Stop Playing Safe: Rethink Risk. Unlock the Power of Courage. Achieve Outstanding Success, we need to start stepping out of our comfort zones. Staying in our comfort zones will prevent us from realising our full potential.
Playing it safe could be exactly what is keeping you from achieving your goals.
Making the tough calls, while uncomfortable, is a skill that can be learned. The consequences of not confronting that which holds you back, is too big to ignore. In a recent interview with the HerBusiness, author Margie Warrell explains that each day matters, and what we do each day matters even more. She tells us why it’s important we start searching for purpose in our lives. Purpose, she says, is what motivates us, and purpose shows us the bigger picture. Without purpose, we don’t know what we are working towards or why. Margie stresses the importance of knowing “why” you do what you do. Why is answering the questions of why we do things. Knowing why is the reason we take risks, instead of playing it safe. Listen to this 30-minute interview with Margie Warrell to learn:
