The Australian Businesswomen’s Network is proud to announce the release of the 50th episode of the Social Media for Small Business podcast.
Social Media for Small Business provides insightful social media tips, news, interviews, and how-tos for small businesses using (or looking to use) social media. Each episode is packed with great information and expert guest advice available in 30-minute parcels that small business owners can enjoy whenever they want, on the device of their choice. Guests include both local and international experts who share tips and strategies, while the hosts (Suzi Dafnis and Cat Matson) share experiences, tools and resources that provide practical application for small business owners.
Since the launch of the Social Media for Small Business podcast in October 2011, the social media landscape in Australia has changed.
Cat Matson, of catmatson.com co-hosts the show and explained that while much has changed, some things haven’t when it comes to social media and small business.
“It’s been fascinating to watch how the social media landscape has changed, with new platforms like Pinterest and Instagram becoming commonly used by small business owners, whilst the ‘old favourites’ like Facebook and Twitter keep adding features that we race to keep up with. Despite this, there are still many small business owners who are just getting on board with ‘the basics’, so we make sure we cover both new and emerging trends for our experienced social media listeners, as well as remembering ‘beginners mind’ for those who are new to the channel.”
50th Episode of Social Media for Small Business Celebrated with Problogger as the Featured Guest
“When deciding who to invite to be our guest on this milestone episode, both Cat and I wanted someone who exemplified good and ethical practice, generosity of spirit and who had notable achievements. We’re proud to have had Darren Rowse of Problogger as our special guest on this episode.” The episode is now live on iTunes, as well as on the Australian Businesswomen’s Network website.
