At the Australian Businesswomen’s Network (ABN), our membership is one of our most valuable resources. Female entrepreneurs are able to network and learn more about the business world through the expertise of other members who have been in their shoes.
Oftentimes, the business world can be a lonely place. We know, and even our most successful businesswomen have conceded, that surrounding yourself with great people and building a strong network are vital for business growth and success. That’s why we love to hear about members doing business with one another.
Take members Natasha Hawker and Felicity Heffernan for example.
Felicity runs Property Loan Advisor where she provides property investment mortgage banking. As an experienced mortgage broker and property investor, Felicity is passionate about working with micro credit organisations in third world countries.
She explains that she initially joined HerBusiness in hope of networking with other women and learning about how they run and grow their own businesses.
She did just this in finding support from Natasha.
Natasha runs her own human resources agency called Employee Matters. She was able to assist Felicity with recruitment and employee relations support.
Natasha thoroughly enjoyed working for Felicity as she is “a hoot and also very happy to say ‘I need help with this’ – she is a pleasure to work for.”
Natasha Hawker is Director at Employee Matters Pty Ltd. She specialises in helping small businesses create exceptional performance by providing expert HR, recruitment and exiting support. She helps business owners with limited resources to hire great people and fire non-performers.
