The founder of Canberra Furnished Accomodation, Laurie McDonald, has made the front page in an interview with Canberra City News on her induction into the 2016 Businesswomen’s Hall of Fame.
Laurie is a woman with a story – her journey from being homeless at 16 to being the founder of a rental accomodation business with a double digit investment portfolio is one that inspires all.
Laurie tells Canberra City News that the induction took her by surprise:
“When they called to tell me I was being inducted, I thought, are you sure it’s me? Is there another Laurie McDonald with a business, maybe?”
