People operating a business from home can develop their skills and tap into a range of low-cost and no-cost business advisory services at the HomeBiz Connect expo. The expo will be touring capital cities across Australia from early February to the end of May. Experts from government agencies will be available to offer advice about setting up and running a home business and answer all sorts of questions from tax to record keeping. Information will also be available about people who can help you develop a business plan and understand what it takes to run a small business. The expo is run by Business Enterprise Centres Australia and AusIndustry. If you are looking to start a new online retail store, to contract out your corporate or trade skills, or support a partner by managing their paperwork, attending one of these events is a great place to start.
