Guy Kawasaki, chief evangelist of Canva, believes that graphic design is becoming more available and accessible for everyone. In his recent interview with the Australian Businesswomen’s Network he explains the role of an evangelist in relation to his role with Canva and how Canva is transforming graphic design. He says that Canva is “bringing the good news about graphic design” and “democratising” graphic design, making it easier for any business to produce impressive images for their social media, websites and even printed materials. He also defines an evangelist as “getting the word out” or taking information about a product to the street and explains how any small business can create evangelists from their clients.
