You always have been, and always will be ENOUGH!
Tammy Hewitt of Mumma Life is NOW & Kick Fear in the Butt is a life coach, thought leader, and mental health advocate that is on a mission to disrupt the current systems and behaviours that leave women feeling small, unheard, alone, disempowered and disconnected from the world.
Tammy helps mums break free from the clutches of stress, fear, and anxiety, to build unshakeable confidence and self-worth.
She does this by providing educational tools and online coaching that supports a growth mindset for both the mum and her family, so they can feel ALIVE again, which is targeted at offering immediate support to mums and will complement the services of mental health professionals.
Before becoming a Solopreneur in May 2019, Tammy was a trained Scientist, working in a Corporate Executive Leadership role. She had a HUGE passion for driving culture changes in a business and also coaching and mentoring. In late 2020, Tammy went on maternity leave and had the shock of her life. Mumlife wasn’t what she expected. It was better, although so much tougher than she ever could have imagined. She developed perinatal depression and anxiety, and this soon turned into the ride of her life, where the simplest of things seemed impossible.
Tammy had a traumatic experience upon returning to work and had to take a leave of absence due to mental health concerns. Rock bottom soon followed when she developed shingles of the eye and was bed bound for 12 nights, separated from their 10-month-old daughter. During her recovery, she had a profound realisation that led to her Kick Fear in the Butt campaign, which raises awareness and funds for mental health charities. As a life coach, human design specialist, content creator, and motivational speaker, Tammy shares her journey and supports others.
In 2022 she launched the Kick Fear in the butt campaign, where she collaborated with over 80 businesses and coordinated raising awareness and funds for 5 National charities; RUOK?, Bears of Hope, Gidget Foundation, Friend in Me, and Friends with Dignity.
She has since been featured across mainstream media several times and wrapped her entire car in rainbow colours and affirmations as a way of holding herself accountable to facing her fears every day AND inspiring meaningful conversations about mental health and confidence.
Tammy considers hitting rock bottom as a beautiful gift, as it shifted her perspective and allowed her to discover who she is at the core, and what she is here to do and has given her the resilience and courage to fight for justice.
