Hello. Hope you had a great long-weekend. I had some time out with family and friends and also spent a little time studying.
I’ve been in marketing for over 20 years but any day (this long weekend was no exception) you can find me reading a marketing book, listening to a podcasts or watching a marketing presentation. I just love it.
And, one of the things that I’ve noticed is that those that manage to sustain growth and progress in business are always in the learner’s seat.
They position themselves for growth by updating their skills, expanding their thinking and exposing themselves to knowledge that can make a real difference. And, they connect with others, who like them – are looking to create a future that matches their dream for their business.
Bronwen Healy is the CEO and Founder of the Hope Foundation, a Brisbane-based national charity that helps women with addictions and/or are in the sex industry who want to change their lives. She was inducted into this year’s Businesswomen’s Hall of Fame.
When asked about what helped her succeed, she gave us this piece of advice:
“Keep growing. Don’t ever stop reaching for more wisdom and more knowledge – be adaptable and never stop growing!”
As a true believer of mentoring and its benefits, I totally agree.
You don’t have to face it all alone. In the same manner that Bronwen shares her wisdom, so will mentors who are there not only to teach you, but also to inspire you and encourage you when the world around you is at its bleakest. In the long run, your mentor will help you grow as a business owner and as an individual.
At HerBusiness, we don’t just randomly match mentorees with mentors, we find you the ideal mentor who will give you valuable wisdom and advice tailor-fit to your business’ needs.
So, if you think you’re ready to try out mentoring with us but you’re not 100% sure, you can get our FREE webinar, How to Find Your Ideal Mentor, now.
It will help you identify if a mentor is right for you, right now. So that YOU can always be growing.
