Have you ever wanted to share something that is really important to you with the world, but felt held back?
When we rebranded to HerBusiness, 12 months ago, we wrote up our manifesto with the intention of sharing it proudly — to say: “THIS is who we are! THIS is what we care about.”
But, my first attempt at turning it into a video failed. The video didn’t capture what I really wanted to convey. So, we created a pretty poster version of the words and buried it inside of our Members’ Area for those who dug deep enough to stumble across it.
The manifesto is the declaration of what we believe about being in business and why we do what we do. And, it’s about our belief that you can use your business as a doorway to creating whatever you want in your life.
So WHY have I gulped and stopped myself from sharing it proudly before now?
If we’ve met and spoken, then I know you’ll hear the words spoken in the video and think: “Yep, that is what HerBusiness is about and that is WHY I’m a part of this great community.”
The manifesto embodies the belief that we have in YOU to really create a business that allows you to do what you love, every day.
But if we haven’t met yet — then perhaps I may be too presumptuous? Too familiar?
Regardless, my team and I are committed to these words. The message stems from my deep thoughts and good wishes for you.
I hope you can relate to something in the message. I hope it inspires you to declare what you stand for; to stand up, speak out and show us what you care about.
Any time we open ourselves up to allow others to really hear us, it can be a vulnerable place to put ourselves in.
But I’m really ready now to share this with you. So here it is.
