One of the best business resources you can have as a business owner is a good book, written by an experienced entrepreneur. Luckily, here at HerBusiness, we have no shortage of accomplished businesswomen, and now many of them are taking up the title of author as well. Take ABN member Ramona Lever for example. Ramona’s book, Branding Yourself for Success, highlights the importance of personal branding and how to achieve this personal brand. Ramona describes it even further as a “holistic guide to help you connect with who you really are and how to present yourself to the world.” Ramona is also the founder of her own photography business, Branding Headshots. She says the personal branding subject of her book and her photography business go hand-in-hand. In her photography business, she aims to produce authentic images of her clients that show their most “authentic and unique selves.” In fact, she credits some of the pre-photoshoot conversations she’s had with clients for much of the content in her book.
Branding Yourself for Success helps the reader delve into the their true selves and use that to their advantage.
Romona notes that success often requires standing out from your competition, and that finding your unique personal brand can make that possible. Ramona has had lots of success since publishing her book in June 2014. She’s found that the book has elevated her to being considered an authority in the subject of personal branding, and has been interviewed and been invited to be a guest speaker at multiple events because of it. Ramona’s advice for businesswomen who are aspiring authors? She says, “Go for it! It is very liberating to see you book in print. I love hearing from my readers about how my book has helped them. It was always a dream of mine to write a book. Publishing it has opened up so many opportunities and pathways and it’s given me the confidence to expand personally.” To learn more about Branding Yourself for Success, or to purchase it, head to Ramona’s website.
