The Science of getting and being poor requires a lot of steady destructive work.
Step 1: Cut all power and communication lines you have with powerful people, if possible bad-mouth them to others and get agreement that they are bad, evil, etc. Make sure you build a counter-sub-group that hates and detests the power.
Step 2: Make sure you go out of communication and be in a chronic low mood level with everyone and everything – and if you are forced to communicate – only talk in a very negative low mood level about meaningless, empty subjects.
Step 3: Be sure to criticise, spread rumours and dirt to about your friends and acquaintances behind their backs. Lie, cheat, steal, betray your friends. Never do a full days work, never pay back money you owe, promise you will do things and then do not do them, be as dishonourable as you can possibly be. (Make sure you always have good justifications for all of the above.)
Step 4: Do not communicate to anyone that would help you prosper.
Step 5: If someone is successful, make sure you make less or nothing of them and their successes.
Step 6: Be sure in your own mind that everyone is less than you and they are far too stupid to care for or to bother with.
Step 7: Always waste as much time and effort as is possible on meaningless, trivial, unimportant tasks.
Step 8: Be silent.
Step 9: Be invisible.
Step 10: Cease to exist – cease to be true to your word or own goals – cease to honour your promises.
Step 11: Treat others as if they do not exist. Should they insist on existing, make sure you blame them for messing up your life.
Step 12: Make sure you do not take your next step in life.
Step 13: Make sure you never wear your hats – be ready to always dump your hats on others.
Step 14: Be as illiterate and in a chronic low mood level as is possible on as many important subjects as you can be, that way no one will want to connect to you.
Step 15: Never truly connect to anyone or anything, that way no power or connection or worthwhile games with others will ever come your way.
Step 16: Never play a worthwhile game, always work and live where you do not want to work and live. That way you can always be a martyr and a victim and constantly complain about how underpaid, how unhappy and mistreated you are and how bad your life really is.
Step 17: Never set any goals. That way you do not have to responsible for anything.
Step 18: Never be present. That way others will be held responsible if anything goes wrong. If you do each of the above steps – poverty will be yours for eternity.
