If it was ever a man’s world, the tide has changed. That’s the message publication Neos Kosmos are communicating to their readers after an interview with Australian Businesswomen’s Network Community Director, Suzi Dafnis.
“I think luck comes to those that are prepared and do the hard work, otherwise I’d be sitting around waiting for my lottery ticket to cash in,” Suzi told Neos Kosmos on 21 January.
It’s a philosophy that has been brought across from Suzi’s early career success to the vision of the Australian Businesswomen’s Network. This is a vision Neos Kosmos sums up well, when saying:
“It’s helped thousands of women tackle the ins and outs of starting a small business, and has linked many to like minded individuals and created a network of successful women.”
Suzi told Neos Kosmos it’s a vision that has driven her leadership of the organisation.
“I got immediately involved in the organisation years later when I sold my business. I decided that this was my real passion, working with women entrepreneurs, and decided that’s what I was going to do,” Suzi told Neos Kosmos.
When reflecting on the start of Suzi’s first business, at the age of 26, Neos Kosmos noted the journey from running proceedings from a spare room to international success.
“Her seminars were ahead of the curve, adapting to the changing climate of the finance and business world and offered real educational help, not just overarching motivational speeches,” the article says.
