Karen Corban’s passion involves learning, empowering and inspiring others, eating delicious food and going on long walks along the beach with her husband as they travel across the globe. And this is exactly what Karen has been doing in the last 22 years through her events business, Universal Stars.
After her successful time in the fashion industry, Karen’s career took a turn as she began following her love for learning and personal development. Her events company, Universal Stars, was driven by her belief that when groups of people connect face-to-face, something magical happens.
Karen was also inspired by the times she herself got stuck when planning a live event, where she would often wake up in the middle of the night, fearing that no one will show up.
“I’ve often thought how my business would have been so much easier if I had someone to show me the ropes, especially how to avoid costly mistakes.”
Today, she has marketed and produced 1,208 live events from 10 to 4,500 attendees, representing 110 speakers in 7 countries with the purpose of educating and inspiring businesses and people to grow.
