5 Steps To Having More Clarity and Focus
- Be clear on your VISION.
Before you exclaim, “Seriously, Suzi? A vision?’ here’s what I know:
A vision that is compelling keeps pulling you forward, excited and feeling on purpose.
It also makes it easier to resist shiny objects because you know the direction that you’re heading.
Do you have a clear vision for your business? It doesn’t have to be a ‘change the world’ type of vision – it just needs to be what YOU want from your business. If you don’t, I encourage you to schedule time to establish your ‘North Star’.
- Set a 12-month overarching ‘Big Kahuna’ Vision (see explanation below).
- Work only on Projects that align with and get you closer to your Big Kahuna Vision.
- Find an Accountability Group, peers or mentor to help you stay on track.
- Track and measure your progress every month.
These five steps may seem simple, but few women take the time to do the FIRST step.
A clear vision makes a HUGE shift in your business results.

Defining your Big Kahuna Vision is a powerful way to direct your attention and resources to the things that matter most, and it stops you from spending your time on ‘bright, shiny objects’ that do not really matter.
A Big Kahuna Vision may be to:
- Increase your income by 50%
- Bring on new team members
- Introduce a high-ticket offer or raise your prices
- 10x the size of your email list
- Go from working from 1 to many
- Move more into the CEO role (and hire/outsource everything that is not income-producing or doesn’t use your unique skills and abilities).
Or anything that would truly revolutionise your business if it was achieved
Having a single-minded focus on a BIG Kahuna Vision is NOT how most business owners approach the year.
