Cat Matson and Suzi Dafnis provide their highlights from Day 2 of South By Southwest Interactive – “An incubator of cutting-edge technologies and digital creativity”. Cat Matson was lucky to hear from Steve Case, the founder of AOL, who offered his speculations on what’s coming next for the internet: he speculated that the third wave of the internet would focus on development in the education, health and food sector. After hearing Steve Case present, Cat realised that future changes will likely come from start-ups and entrepreneurial activity. Suzi Dafnis gave us the lowdown on her interview with Apple evangelist, Guy Kawasaki, and learned from him that successful companies find simple solutions for people. Suzi also attended a session by author and actress Annabel Gurwitch, at which she heard about how the world starts to view you differently as you age.
