There’s a classic beginning to how Loretta Brandolini founded reluminate beauty in that she was one of those teenagers who loved mashing things up in the kitchen and plastering them on her skin to create the ultimate glowing complexion.
But things got real when Loretta became a mum and her son experienced terrible eczema and severe allergies.
No mother’s going to tolerate that … so Loretta’s mission began in earnest to create natural, botanical products that keep skin healthy, beautiful and soft without irritating it.
That mission evolved: now reluminate beauty helps mature women enjoy smooth, hydrated and glowing skin powered by the best the Australian natural environment has to offer.
Armed with a passion for natural ingredients, Loretta uncovered the harmful toxins lurking in commercial skincare. She took matters into her own hands and started crafting natural body products from scratch and while witnessing the transformative and healing effects, her first foray into skincare products, Raw Beauty Skincare was born.
Several years later, this had grown significantly and evolved beyond just skincare… Loretta had beautiful hair care products as well. So she renamed as Reluminate Beauty.
Reluminate is a fusion of “re” – symbolising renewal, transformation, and embracing change and “illuminate” – which speaks to the radiant glow that shines when you feel empowered, confident, and true to yourself.
Loretta joined the HerBusiness Network earlier this year and says that one of the first things that came out of joining was a system to help her connect with the right people in a way that feels genuine, not salesy. Loretta says “When I introduce myself and my business, I want it to be the beginning of a conversation they can’t wait to continue, which authentically captures what my business is, to instantly attract my perfect customers without being salesy.”
