In the very early and challenging days of the internet, Red&Crew founder Karen Parish worked closely with a software engineer with a Masters in Usability Design. They combined their skills to design and build websites. At the time, this was a sideline to her graphic design business.
Karen’s design talent was spotted early in her career as a junior artist in an advertising agency, moving on to the print industry where she quickly rose to head designer and to manage the company’s in-house art room. She left to begin her own graphic design business in 1985.
For over 20 years now, Red&Crew have been creating beautiful websites for business owners who are overwhelmed by today’s technology and need someone who really understands their online needs. They look after all the tech requirements for you and support and guide you every step of the way, including providing ongoing maintenance.
Karen and her team take the time to really understand your business and don’t use confusing tech jargon. Karen has often heard stories from new clients that they were in meetings with their previous web people, and usually had no idea what they were talking about!
Karen has been a member of the HerBusiness Network for more than 12 years, has attended the REACH Retreat in Hawaii, presented Masterclasses for her fellow members and is a founding member of the Marketing Success Mastermind. A lifelong learner and avid reader, Karen continues to tap into books and online courses on business and marketing through these HerBusiness resources.
Helping people is Karen’s passion and she has a wide network of girlfriends. She was a member of Zonta International for many years and more recently connecting women through her personal project Wise Women, wisewomen.com.au.
Karen lives in Melbourne, Australia with her husband and business partner Trevor. She is a passionate supporter of Melbourne-based Aussie Rules team, the Richmond Tigers. Their two grown children have spent years travelling the world and the family recently welcomed a gorgeous grandson Laiken who lives in the UK.
