Every donation to WSPA is a gift of a better life to an animal in need. You can donate as an individual or through WSPA’s workplace giving, through your employer.
Donations start at just $30 a month!
Individual Donations
Become a generous supporter and you’ll help animals in all corners of the globe achieve lives free from fear, abuse and exploitation. Each donation goes to work instantly to touch the lives of animals that need it most, from bears milked for their bile in China to whales fighting for survival in the world’s oceans. With your help, a world free from animal cruelty is a step closer.
Workplace Giving
By donating to WSPA through WSPA’s workplace giving programs, employees can help WSPA build and establish sanctuaries to rehabilitate rescued animals, lobby governments to achieve legislation that outlaws cruelty to animals and change attitudes to animal welfare through education. And it can ensure emergency relief when disaster strikes.
WSPA Programs
Here are some recent campaigns from WSPA. Become a donor and help campaigns like these.
Bricks for Bears
WSPA is rescuing the final 25 bears in captivity in Romania. With the help of local partner AMP, they have rescued 60 bears and freed them to the safety and comfort of the WSPA-funded Zarnesti bear sanctuary. But in Romania there are still 25 bears being kept illegally. They need to be saved from the perilous conditions that currently keep them captive.
Collars not Cruelty
Twenty million dogs are brutally killed every year, that’s 38 every minute. One of excuses for this cruelty is fear of rabies, but the mass killing of dogs doesn’t stop this disease.
WSPA is calling on governments to stop killing dogs, and instead run effective dog vaccination programmes. They want every vaccinated dog to be fitted with a collar to show communities which vulnerable animals have been protected against rabies.
Humane Chain
WSPA’s Humane Chain programme has been campaigning for a phase out of live exports for slaughter since 2009.Their mission is to develop strategic relationships to achieve our goal to end live animal export from Australia, while maintaining an open dialogue with farmers, and benefitting the Australian economy.
We firmly believe the live animal export trade to be an inherently cruel practice.
