The Australian Businesswomen’s Network is excited to announce the winners to the Business Makeover Month – Great Makeover Challenge completion.
The competition, which was part of a month-long focus on ways to make over your business and life, asked women to nominate an area that they were committed to improving during the month by taking action.
We were thrilled with the commitments made from women who saw the competition as an opportunity to make some changes to their businesses and their lives. Some of the changes were truly heart-open and touching.
The first-prize winner is Leigh Goldsmith (Johnston and Goldsmith Management Consultants) who shared this with us in response to what part of her life she plans to makeover this month:
“I have just accepted a redundancy from Queensland Government. This September is all about new beginnings and make overs – a new wardrobe, new opportunities and starting my own consultancy business!!!!!! I am taking the leap of faith and not looking down – let the makeover begin.”
Leigh has won a Napoleon Perdis Corporate Workshop for Six People valued at $900.
Competition runners-up are Kristine Holden (Complete Bookkeeping Concepts), Eleni Mitakos (Galmatic), Carmen Shum (Little Miss Wellbeing), Michele Connolly (Get Organized Wizard) and Tania Wilson (Tania Louise), each win a Napoleon Perdis Corporate Makeover Pack valued at $250.
These winners made over their website offerings, mind and body, social media branding, home offices, personal profiles, and more during the month.
“September’s the first month of spring/ Time to spruce up my web offering/ I’ll make over my store,/ Blog, logo, and more/ All to give my website some fresh zing.”
“I would like to makeover myself as the face of my business, to look more polished, as a mother of two children, studying, working and setting up my own business I think it is necessary for me to look the best I can to achieve the best results and gain more confidence in me.”
“This September my Business partner and I have embarked on the 12WBT challenge. Together we are focusing on a healthy mind and healthy approach to our work life balance. We work from home and are in the process of refurbishing our office and updating our procedures to ensure the coming finacial year is exciting and new. “We are going to spring clean our social media branding – we have different pictures on every platform! Uniformed branding here we come!”
