Blackbird released an article last week about the Businesswomen’s Hall of Fame launch. The articles covers all the women inducted into the Hall of Fame, the process and some inside tips from the women.
The Hall of Fame seeks to champion women who are pioneers in their field, are highly successful in their business pursuit, and are role models for other business women. The women in this year’s cohort go above and beyond the requirements to be inducted, and the selection panel had a difficult time deciding on the winners. Suzi Dafnis says of this year’s women, “The women inducted into this year’s Hall of Fame are incredibly inspiring with stories of determination and passion that have set them on paths to success – paths that often have quite a few big bumps along the way.”
Suzi also was quoted saying, “Being a business owner is one of the most rewarding, yet challenging experiences a woman can have. The Hall of Fame shines a light on Australia’s most talented women entrepreneurs and share their authentic – stories that inspire other women to be bold and confident in business – even when the going gets rough or they lose their mojo. Successful women inspire other women to strive for success.”
The article contains some insight from a few of the inductees on being successful in business, including overcoming fear and finding a support system.
