“As the owner of a small Artisan Food business it’s important to connect with our customers and community”
Dionne Sibly, co-founder of Black Garlic & Co, started her career with a Bachelor of Business in Hospitality Administration/Management and has over 15 years of experience in various industries, including hospitality, events, education, and healthcare.
In 2020, Dionne and her husband Julian (who has a Masters in Medical Science) founded Black Garlic & Co in their home town of Perth. Dionne helps food enthusiasts and health conscious individuals transform ordinary meals into gourmet experiences with her premium nutrient-packed black garlic and range of black garlic products.

Recognised for their dedication to quality, Black Garlic & Co have won 20 awards along with 3 Champions and a Trophy at the Tasmanian Fine Food Awards, Sydney Fine Food Awards, and Melbourne Royal Awards.
Dionne’s offerings are guided by the seasons, and her recipes page regularly features seasonal recipe inspiration, demonstrating the versatility of black garlic throughout the year. Quality is the foundation of all Dionne’s products, not just limited to black garlic. She focuses on creating products that not only offer culinary delights but also potential health benefits.
As a HerBusiness Network member Dionne is continuing to enhance her entrepreneurial journey, learning more about growing and scaling her business, implementing systems and processes that work, gaining knowledge and insight – and most importantly, she feels part of a supportive community, with her Growth Group to keep her on track.
Dionne says “As the owner of a small Artisan Food business it’s important to connect with our customers and community.” This month, Dionne has taken up the challenge inside the HerBusiness members group to #ShowUp, and we are so proud to see the various ways she has been connecting regularly with her own community.
