Don’t you just love it when you work with great people?
All my business life I feel like I’ve been able to attract the most incredible people around me. This photo was taken about 5 minutes before we opened the doors on our FIRST ever REACH Retreat in Hawaii last year.
For 20 years I’d dreamed of running a retreat for a small number of women in business where you could get the space to look at your business in a new light. Where you could create a vision that caused you to REACH beyond your comfort zone and beyond what’s happening now so that you could have more of what you really wanted in your life and your business.
And here we are right at the point where that vision was about to become a reality. I was so thrilled to be able to share it with 3 amazing people who were my “dream team” of presenters at the retreat.
Peter Johnston – my partner in business and in life, who is an incredibly successful business owner and investor and a much-loved mentor to dozens and dozens of business owners who worked with participants to help them take focused action. Valerie Khoo, founder of the Australian Writers’ Centre, author of the book “Power Stories”, emerging artist and former journalist. Val has mentored and taught best-selling authors and thousands of business owners and she worked with our REACH participants to communicate more effectively and create a powerful message. Michelle Falzon, co-presenter of our HerBusiness Marketing Success Mastermind and Content Sells Podcast and a marketer with more than 25 years experience who shared a powerful process for clearly creating a powerful vision.
It really was a magical combination and I was SO grateful and inspired by each of these amazing people and what they shared. And our REACH Retreat participants LOVED them… getting such sustained access over 5 days to these mentors made a huge difference – so many breakthroughs and insights experienced by all.
