Tamworth Country Life announced the induction of Tamworth local Robbie Sefton into the HerBusiness 2014 Hall of Fame to its readers on 25 February 2014.
“I am very honoured to be nominated,” Robbie told Tamworth Country Life. “It is very important for rural and regional women to be acknowledged for their contribution to Australia’s economy and our communities.”
Robbie was chosen as an inductee for her contributions through her two businesses. She is a primary producer of wool, meat and grains from a 2,900-hectare property near Tamworth called ‘Braemar’. Primarily, she is the managing director of Sefton & Associates, specialising in strategic rural and regional community strategies.
“The award isn’t about me or the work i do, it is more about what is possible for women from the country,” she also stated.
Robbie serves as an inspiration for women in small business in Tamworth and beyond. Tamworth Country Life is an independently owned hub regarding Tamworth lifestyle, business, community, sports and news for locals and visitors alike. View the full Robbie Sefton article here.
