This week the Australian Businesswomen’s Network announced that it will renew its support of the not-for-profit sector for 2014 through the provision of scholarships to its business training programs. These scholarships will be offered through the Australian Scholarships Foundation. In 2013 staff and management of key not-for-profit organisations received scholarships to the ABN’s online courses and training on branding, social media, copywriting and finance.
“Running a not-for-profit can be difficult when you have limited resources. Our commitment is to empower the management and staff of these organisations through bettering their business skills and increasing their capacity to provide the vital services they offer our community, explained the Australian Businesswomen’s Network’s Community Director, Suzi Dafnis.
Australian Scholarships Foundation CEO Amy Lyden says, “We are thrilled to have this support again from the Australian Businesswomen’s Network. The ABN’s online courses are relevant and highly practical and we love the fact that these skills can be implemented into the participant’s not-for-profit organisation straight away.”
