Australian Businesswomen’s Network member Nerida Gill has been featured in Good Taste magazine, spilling her secrets about how she manages her business with her volunteer work whilst being a wife and mother to two teenage boys.
“My big secret is outsourcing tasks that are not my strength. It means I enjoy what I do and my time is more productive as a result.”
Nerida describes her life as lasagne, in that it is full of rich layers. She directs a software company that helps not-for-profit groups and treasurers practice accounting regardless of their skill level while also doing the books for her husband’s business. She also helps refugees gain experience in the workforce, blogs, is a social media advisor and still has time to spend cooking with her family and go mountain bike riding!
“I’ve learned that aiming for ‘perfect’ stops me from getting great results. You have to look at what’s really important.”
