With 25 years of styling experience under her belt, Kaye returned to Australia and started her business Styling Individuals. Through a process of targeting her clients, strategising her goals and rebranding her name, Kaye created her IDEAL business.

Kaye took the first step to IDENTIFY her goals, her client and her vision. Knowing your business goals allows you to identify your target audience.

Kaye explains the importance of being selective when choosing your areas of focus. She has identified her goals to accomplish during the year and solidified a strategy for developing her ideal business.
With a clear vision of her business plan, Kaye took the next steps to ENGAGE her ideal clients. Kaye took her clients opinions and needs and began putting out what her clients wanted to hear. She learned that her clients needed a place to interact so she started her Facebook group for clients. To grow your engagement you must understand your client’s wants and needs.
After gaining the attention and engaging your target audience, you have to follow through, ACT and deliver.
With a solid business foundation, Kaye took the next step in continuing to grow her business. She launched her newsletter, updated her professional photos and increased the prices of her service. These brave actions have contributed to the scaling of her business. Kaye had to shift her mindset from thinking as a creative in the fashion industry to thinking as a business owner.
Kaye continues to grow her IDEAL business and is currently organising a shopping trip to Italy. As her business grows she finds herself able to take on the goals she has envisioned for a while.
Kaye’s clear focus, strong message and blooming confidence allowed her to create her IDEAL business. She has reached her goal of becoming the “go-to stylist” for her ideal client.
