With her love for words, stories and writing, Vicki Yen of Vicki Yen Credibility Specialist, originally set out to be an English Teacher. But life had other plans for her, especially after she discovered a love for sales work. So Vicki set out in a more independent direction.

She primarily worked as a professional photographer, with a range of experience in freelance, media and corporate writer worlds. Along the way, she also earned a Masters’ degree in Communication. Since then, Vicki has combined her love for sales work, photography, copywriting and social media into her own business.

At Vicki Yen Credibility Specialist, Vicki aims to help small and micro-business owners position themselves as credible, reliable and approachable. By listening to her clients’ stories, Vicki pinpoints their core message. She then gives them the tools to create a cohesive brand through photography, copywriting, content strategy and social media services. As Vicki says, “I especially love unearthing the overarching strategy that really pulls it all together for a business.”

Outside of photography (her No. 1 passion!) and working with her clients, Vicki enjoys visiting Cape York and remote Indigenous Communities. Joining the HerBusiness Network Community has also provided Vicki with the opportunity to receive feedback and perspective – something that she really values.
