Launching her own business was a massive step for Kirsty Ogden.
Kirsty Ogden is a qualified designer, editor, and owner of Brisbane Self-Publishing Service.
Her five-step self-publishing framework helps prevent overwhelm for her clients by streamlining all steps involved in publishing a printed and digital book. Kirsty’s five-step process is known as the Five ‘C’s’ of Self Publishing framework.
With a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the book industry, Kirsty works closely with a team of freelance editors, proofreaders, illustrators, and graphic artists. She has access to a trusted network of publishing professionals as well, which includes printers and print brokers, ebook conversion, and audiobook production specialists.
“I gain a great deal of satisfaction from supporting authors to achieve their goals of sharing their story with the world. Like them, I’m thrilled when I get to witness the reward of their hard work- receiving a ‘Proud Author’ photo with them holding a printed copy of their book in their hands!”
Kirsty loves the freedom of being her own boss. She is always taking the time to expand her horizons through gaining useful information and learning new skills through developing relationships with other business owners. Kirsty believes that working with other creative people and helping them with their publishing dreams is a privilege and responsibility.

Kirsty’s Interests
Kirsty’s interests include books and reading, art, design, films, theatre, meditation, yoga, natural health and meeting new people.

When Kirsty registered for a free online networking event that HerBusiness hosted, she was impressed with how genuine and welcoming everyone was. Add in the organisation of events and communication and Kirsty wanted in straightaway!

Kirsty is happy to offer writing/publishing advice (via 10-15 minute phone call) to other HerBusiness members. She wants to make a positive contribution to the HerBusiness community by taking part in a HerBusiness Goals Groups (peer-to-peer accountability groups available to members of the HerBusiness Network.
