“My partner and I are people who believe in making a contribution back to your community in a lot of different ways.”
Being able to contribute back to her community has long been a value Alex Hanlon of Engine No.2 holds dear to her heart. In fact, it’s been a major theme throughout her life – from her career in corporate services, cultural change, construction and digital technology to now co-founding Engine No.2.
As a digital transformation agency serving Australian healthcare professionals, Engine No.2 provides a virtual Chief Technology Officer on-demand service, one-to-one coaching, online courses, digital “how to” resources and a digital advisory service. And throughout all her services, Alex aims to help leverage the benefits of technology so that healthcare service providers can focus more time on their patients.
Since founding her business a year ago, Alex has joined the HerBusiness Network Community to connect with and learn from other women business owners. She has especially enjoyed the focus and accountability that being a member has provided her with.
Alex is on the trajectory of scaling her business, having recently celebrated hitting her $100K-milestone. But when she isn’t focusing on her business and clients, Alex can be found serving as a board member of charities she actively supports. She also enjoys spending time in the garden, reading and drawing mandalas.
